In turns heartfelt, bizarre, and confronting, the evening brought forward the conflicts between vulnerability and self-protection when facing internal and external pressures.
Absolutely massive line-up, with more than five hours of jazz, folk, and blues-infused music spanning Europe from the Faroe Islands to Croatia, with influences knowing no borders at all.
The first act on the stage was “Estonian Voices” that have been around some years on the scene and delivered a clean & crisp set one would expect from the cool cats that have played around for more than a few years.

Her stories unfold, crass and clever and sweetly delivered, with a knack for dropping new and horrifying euphemisms that are instantly and regrettably recognisable.
Mulliner is electric, energetic, and incredibly athletic as she moves through the space (and space itself!) to interrogate our experiences and expectations of love.
The show continuously explored the unities and disunities that come from being an intentionally assembled group of people in a mostly foreign land – having family, but not yet being family; building and maintaining relationships, near and far; and staying present in your own self, health, and art.
The structure of the show makes the most of Fredy’s instincts for hijinks and callbacks, as well as the truly stupendous amount of sounds he’s capable of producing.
